Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the launch of the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) Negotiations along with other AEC Council Ministers today on the sidelines of the 23rd ASEAN Economic Community Council (AECC) meeting. The DEFA’s primary objective is to bolster ASEAN’s digital transformation, propelling it into a prominent digitally connected community and economic bloc, supported by secure and transformative digital services, cutting-edge technologies, and robust ecosystems.
